"Performa", a play on words that alludes to both design and the action of transforming the intangible into reality. Zita Arcq, the designer, amalgamated two of her obsessions—person and form—into a single term, creating for herself and her signature a creative universe that would allow her to shape “objects that only exist in the abstract, in the imagination, but that also define the personality of the person who uses the pieces.” 

Performa is an independent, sculptural jewelry project. All pieces are designed, created, and crafted entirely by hand with a locally-run foundry for the casting process. We use only solid 925 sterling silver, 14k, 18k, and 24k solid gold for very limited editions or one-of-a-kind pieces. We buy recycled metals from a local manufacturer, plus we recycle metals within our studio.
